Cornwall
Frank and Sheila moved to Cornwall to be close to the boys and the grandchildren, Tanya and the newly arrived Ross. Here they had many adventures, homemaking at Tehidy Terrace and later homebuilding at Campbeltown Way.
Sheila valued her friends, especially the ones who delivered cake on her birthday!

After Frank died, Sheila threw herself even more into her charity work for Friends of Falmouth Health Centre and working at the Cancer Research UK shop. She loved her time at the shop working alongside manager Russell and her friends, including Edna. Many people will remember her yellow cars with two tables that she took to Falmouth Rugby Club car boot sales for over 15 years. She managed to raise thousands of pounds selling donated items and her own crafts.

She extended her crafting repertoire and croched bedspreads and blankets, made embroidered cushion designs and knitted tiny little dogs (which she also sold at the car boot sales), the pattern for the dogs she kept a secret for over thirty years, before passing it onto Jan and Karen.
Sheila loved playing games, regularly visiting Mavis’ house to play Scrabble and Rummikub. Many will remember Sheila devising games and challenges for all to take part in on Boxing Day. This love of games continued right to the end with her ability to play a good game of hangman with John and her carers.
Baa baa black sheep was a guess that came up quite often!

Sheila painted and doodled all her life. These flower designs and teddy bear drawings were all done very recently.
